Classes

Algebra 1

Class reviews concepts from middle school and follows the school curriculum with the objective to improve understanding and build a strong foundation in following topics: equations, systems of equations, functions, real numbers, inequalities, exponents, polynomials, radical and rational expressions.

Geometry

Class reviews concepts from Algebra 1 and follows the school curriculum with the objective to improve understanding and build a strong foundation for following topics: Lines, Similarity/congruency, triangles, polygons, circles, etc.

Algebra 2

Topics for this includes: Linear equations, inequalities, system of equations and inequalities, linear functions, matrices, complex numbers, quadratic and polynomials functions, radical expressions, exponential and logarithmic expressions, sequences and series, probability and trigonometry.

Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry

The class starts with review of concepts from Algebra and Functions. It introduces Trigonometry and applications of trigonometry to real-lfe problems.

AP Calculus AB

The class starts with review of Functions. Limits and Continuity are introduced, followed by Differentiation and its applications. The class continues with antidifferentiation (integration) and its applications and introduction to differential equations. We complete all the curriculum by early Feb so that we can practice AP tests for ~2 months before the May AP Test.

AP Calculus BC

The class starts with reviews of Limits, Differentiation and its applications, and Integration and its applications. Advance concepts in Limits, Differentiation and Integration are taught, followed by Series and Convergence. We complete all the curriculum by early Feb so that we can practice AP tests for ~2 months before the AP Test in May.

AP Physics B

The class covers Kinematics – linear and circular motion. We spend extra time on understanding Newton’s laws, Vectors, application of Newton’s laws. Simple Harmonic Motion, Conservation of Energy, Electrostatics, Fluids (if required), are covered. We emphasize understanding concepts. We complete all the curriculum by early Feb so that we can practice AP tests for ~2 months before the AP Test in May.
